Restaurant Week 2011 will take place at various locations between October 24th – 30th. The event, which celebrates its 10th anniversary, was started by Acacia’s Aline Reitzer and aims to showcase local chefs and restaurants. In addition to offering food, the event contains a charity component.
Chefs create a three-course, fixed-price menu and offer it at $25.11 per person all week. The restaurants takes $2.11 from each individual price and donate the money to local charity FeedMore.
