Richmond History Makers Celebration October 20, 2009

The Valentine Richmond History Center (VRHC) celebrates the 2009 Richmond History Makers: LaVerne Spurlock of Virginia Heroes, Inc.; James Schroeder, D.D.S., of CrossOver Ministry; Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA); ROSMY; and Mary Lou Decossaux of the Neighborhood Resource Center (for a full description of honorees and their accomplishments, see www.richmondhistorymakers.com).

The 5th Annual Richmond History Makers Program pays tribute to everyday citizens and outstanding organizations that make significant contributions to the greater Richmond region.

The 2009 program is open to the public and presented by Dominion. All proceeds benefit The Valentine Richmond History Center. Reservations include valet parking, heavy hors d'oeuvres, open bar and coupon for free admission to the History Center. Donations of $125 also receive an invitation to the V.I.P. reception.
