SAN FRANCISCO, CA - On Thursday, April 20, Chris Garcia and Ali Wong present "Rice and Beans: a night of sketch comedy, improv and stand-up."
A regular headliner at San Francisco Comedy Club, Chris Garcia is a rising talent in the stand-up comedy community. With a unique physical comedy and ability to riff with the audience, Garcia makes every show worth watching.
In her signature teddy bear buns and thriller adidas jacket, Ali Wong resembles a child from one of Missy Elliot's videos, and she talks like a perverted old man. With an arsenal of yo mama jokes and Muni tales, Wong is famous for making audience members pee in their pants.
Drawing from each of their ethnic backgrounds, Garcia and Wong have written a batch of hilarious sketches such as "FOB Family Feud," "Kill the White People," and "Sex in the Daly City." Known together in the stand-up community as "the leaders of the new school, nipping at the veterans' heels," Chris Garcia and Ali Wong are excited to flaunt their stuff.
"I just can't wait for the American Apparel sketch, so everyone can see Chris' nutsack," says Wong.
Garcia turns to his 5 foot female friend and adds, "I can wait for that sketch either, so everyone can see yours."
The show will also feature surprise acts, from some of the best comics in San Francisco.
