SONIC CATHEDRAL opens for a very special service at THE SOCIAL, Little Portland Street, London W1 on Sunday June 22.

SUNNY SUNDAY SMILE is an afternoon and evening of electronica and shoegaze sounds to coincide with My Bloody Valentine’s dates at The Roundhouse and it’s also the lauch party for the new single on our record label, Sonic Cathedral Recordings – two MBV covers by Japancakes remixed by two of today’s guests.

Making his UK live debut is Chilean electrogazer RICARDO TOBAR (who remixed Japancakes’ cover of ‘Touched’), with support from wonderful Westcountry types WINTERLIGHT. The live music will finish early to allow you to get to The Roundhouse for MBV (and if you have MBV tickets, entry is just £3), but if you didn’t snag a ticket and want to stick around we have DJ sets from JAMES RUTLEDGE (remixer of ‘Soon’) and JAMES HOLDEN, boss of Ricardo Tobar’s label, the brilliant Border Community.
