The Baltimore Food Co-op (BFC) will kick off its Grand Opening celebration with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and other VIP guests from the community. The BFC is a community-owned, community-oriented market that brings sustainable, local, healthy and affordable food to the Remington neighborhood of Baltimore and surrounding communities.

All day, guests can indulge in sustainable food samples from BFC vendors, prize giveaways at the door and the music of local band Beggars Ride. Participating vendors include Taharka Brothers, Patchwork Catering, Gunpowder Bison, Whiskey Island Pirate Shop, KCC Natural and Evermore Farms, among others.
