Imagine 'The Last Supper' catered by Whataburger. Then take a look at Rex Hausmann's 'Revisitation.' "In this installation the viewer stumbles upon the aftermath of a large meal," Hausmann explains. "Crowding the viewer's space are friends of mine from all over the U.S. Surrounding the visitor are textiles designed and produced by artists, architects, photographers, writers, young gallerists and patrons." Though modeled on Leonard da Vinci's famous painting, Hausmann's installation is actually inspired by memories of the big family dinners presided over by his Italian grandmother. Included are pictures of the artist's past projects, books of influential ideas and small homages to many artists.
