DJ PIPPY has been spinning for seven years. His signature sound has been heard at A38, 702, Numbers, Chaise Lounge, The Orbit Room, Mercer Lounge, House of Blues and many more.
Pippy is Revolve's resident mad scientist, with a progression of hip-hop, rock, and dance beats combined with the electronic sounds of the underground to keep the dance floor pumping. Whether playing the latest remixes or the grooves that just feel good, he takes you to unexpected places on a wild and always surprising musical journey.
Raised by the early and mid 90’s NYC club and rave scene as a follower of the now famous Frankie Bones’ Factory parties from under the Brooklyn Bridge to The Tunnel and Limelight, MATTY P found his way into DJ’ing in June 2007 while residing in the Philadelphia metro area. Influenced by those sounds and environs, Matty continues the tradition in his sets with constant 4/4 bass sprinkled with techno and broken-beat elements.
After throwing his own event in South Philly at Ulana’s Nightclub, he became a resident of Square One at Liquid Charm (the longest running house and breakbeat monthly in Philadelphia) for two years, as well as one year for The Get Down at The Liberty Bar. His two-year tenure in Philly led to successes in the EDM underground of New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and most recently Texas.
Since moving to Texas in May of 2009, Matty quickly became a resident for Revolve at Numbers Nightclub and has guest starred at The Orbit Room, The Davenport, The Burleson Warehouse, The Green Hour, Jet Lounge, Mercer Lounge, Kryptonite, House of Blues and other popular venues in Houston and his home-base of Austin.
Producer/promoter CHRIS KAIRO's experience began in 2007 when he co-created REMEDY at The G.R.A.B. and the VIBE TRIBE warehouse party. Since then, he has produced and/or hosted EDM shows featuring local, Texas and international DJs at many premier venues, including Rich's, Numbers, The Engine Room, Chaise Lounge, the original SDC Warehouse, Jet Lounge, Meridian, Leon's Lounge, The Green Hour, Mercer Lounge, Rocbar/Mosaic, and House of Blues.
