6th ANNUAL WASHINGTON REVELS BENEFIT GALA
Celebrate 25 years of Revels in Washington, D.C.!

Washington Revels, a nonprofit performing arts organization dedicated to celebrating traditional music, song, dance and stories from cultures around the world, announces plans for its 6th Annual Gala to support its community outreach and education programs.

Our Revels 'Round the Seasons Gala will celebrate 25 years of Revels in Washington, D.C. The Gala will take place on Saturday evening, March 8, 2008, at the United States Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy scrumptious dining, a silent auction, and Revels-style entertainment, including the musical talents of Steve Hickman, John Devine, and Charlie Pilzer. The Gala will be a seated dinner and dessert buffet for a maximum group of 200. Tickets are $250 each. Sponsor tables are also available starting at $5000 for a table of 10. Washington Revels is dedicated to reviving and celebrating cultural traditions - music, dance, stories, drama and rituals - that have bound communities together over the ages and across the globe. In 2005, Washington Revels launched its new Community Initiative to expand Revels and its impact by doing what Revels does best - producing performances by and for a community, using people and resources from that community - in school, church and other neighborhood communities in the Washington area.
