Reunited Masterpieces: From Adam and Eve to George and Martha April 7, 2010

The Wadsworth has a surprising number of paintings, from major schools of European art, which have been separated from their mates. Several pairs are temporarily rejoined through loaned works from around the world, allowing a better appreciation of how these paintings were originally conceived and how the artists subtly adjusted one painting to complement the other.
