RETROFEST 24, PAYING TRIBUTE TO SUMMER JAM 1973 37th ANNIVERSARY TO BENEFIT THE LONG ISLAND CRISIS CENTER
Organized by Allan Spielman of Retrofestival.Org in partnership with Act1Entertainment.Net, Retrofest 24 will celebrate the 37th anniversary of the famous Summer Jam 1973 with a musical lineup of Retro69, BigDaddy & The Bulldogs and Blacklight to sample the original Watkins Glen concert experience. The show will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 8:30pm – 2:00am at the Sunset Grill, 4068 Sunrise Highway, Seaford NY. $10 donation at the door. Every dollar raised will benefit Long Island Crisis Center, a non-profit intervention center that offers counseling, information, referral, and other supportive services, primarily through a 24-hour a day, seven-day-a-week telephone crisis hotline & live online counseling. They also advocate for appropriate services & programming on behalf of Long Island’s underserved and disenfranchised population.
