Join Leslie Scott, retired British Airways Concorde captain, for a lunch time interactive discussion of his career, including setting the world record for the fastest commercial transatlantic crossing from New York to London while flying Alpha Delta on February 7, 1996, on Wednesday, April 24, at 12:00 PM, at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), Manhattan.
During this lunch time talk, Captain Scott will reflect on his eight year experience flying the Concorde Alpha Delta, which is now on display at the Intrepid Museum Complex, and discuss the technological innovations that allowed Concorde to become the world’s only successful supersonic airliner.
