New York, NY (June 27, 2012) –Rockefeller Center will once again be transformed into an outdoor dining haven offering seasonal specials and exclusive menu items from the Center’s renowned restaurants Tuesday, July 10 through Thursday, July 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Rockefeller Plaza, 49th and 50th Streets between 5th and 6th Avenues, Manhattan.
Special picnic tables and benches will allow diners the chance to enjoy meals in the Plaza al fresco. Participating restaurants include Blue Bottle Coffee, offering New Orleans Iced Coffee, a cold brewed coffee infused with chicory, lightly sweetened and served with milk; The Sea Grill, featuring their Mini Maine Lobster Rolls with house made Yukon Gold potato chips; Tri Tip Grill, serving Big and Little Buck Steak sandwiches featuring char roasted Tri Tip steak, marinated, aged and smoked for two hours in a real wood smoker; and ‘wichcraft, offering their shrimp salad on a buttered potato roll – a special signature sandwich exclusive to Restaurant Days; and Bouchon Bakery, serving truffle and caramel popcorn. Additional participating restaurants include Bill’s Bar & Burger, Ben & Jerry’s, Del Frisco’s Grille, Morrell Wine Bar & Café, Harry’s Italian Pizza Parlor, Godiva Chocolatier, Rock Center Café, Brasserie Ruhlmann and Magnolia Bakery.
