Music has always been integral to RESFEST's identity, as evidenced by the continuing popularity of our long-running Cinema Electronica program and its younger sibling, Videos That Rock, as well as our screenings of music-oriented feature films like the hip hop documentaries Scratch and Breath Control. But this year for the first time, RESFEST presents progressive musicianship in the flesh as well as on the screen with a series of live music performances as innovative as the films we show. While the sounds will vary from city to city, independent and innovative artistry will be on display every stop of the way.
