SRQYR Hosts "Republicans on Ice" Event With Chris Markowski

Sarasota, FL—The Sarasota County Young Republicans are hosting the first annual "Republicans on Ice" event on Saturday, Dec. 12th from 1-3pm, at the Ellenton Ice Rink. The event is designed to attract families and political activists of all ages; highlights include a meet and greet with state and local candidates and elected officials, ice skating, a bounce house, visits & pictures with Santa Claus, and raffles.

Chris Markowski, known as "The Watchdog on Wall Street", will be speaking. Markowski is host of the nationally syndicated radio show “Watchdog on Wall Street”, appears nationally on CNN and FOX, and writes “The “Markowski Monthly,” America’s most widely-read investor advocate newsletter.

Chris forecasted the economic events of today such as the Freddie Mac Fannie Mae Bailout, dot com bust, the demise of Enron, the oil speculation bubble and the real estate collapse.

More speakers and candidates will be announced over the next week.

The Sarasota County Young Republicans are a group of 18-40 year old young professionals who are dedicated to political activism and voter education.
