Reno Tahoe Comedy presents Mike Faverman May 13, 2011

Reno Tahoe Comedy presents the Biggest Little Comedy Show at the Pioneer Underground located next to the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts at 100 South Virginia, St., Reno, NV. We will have three shows this weekend. The first show is on Friday at 8:00pm and we’ll have two shows on Saturday: the first is at 8:00pm and the second is an ‘R’ rated show at 10:00pm.

Reno Tahoe Comedy is proud to announce that all three shows are headlined by Michael Faverman. Mike Faverman is an actor, writer, director and nationally touring comedian born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. He has traveled the country performing at every major comedy club that this country has to offer. His honest, yet abrasive, in your face style of comedy keeps audiences riveted and on their toes as it is unpredictable what he is going to say next. Mike has several TV appearances on shows like Playboy TV, Current TV and Wealth TV. In 2003, Mike received the greatest comedic reward when he was passed as a paid regular at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles. He now has his name on the wall at the most famous comedy club in the world and performs there on a regular basis. You host for the weekend is none other than Chris Storin! Born in Oakland California and raised in San Leandro, this Bay Area native will crack you UP!!! Chris Storin's unique life growing up "HALF-BREED" with a Dad who is a farmer from Oklahoma and a fiesty Latina Mom from New Mexico provides a hilarious and original outlook. His energetic style and nose has captivated audiences throughout the Country. Storin has shared the stage with the likes of Anjelah Johnson, Doug Benson, Eddie Griffin, and many more!

Friday night’s guest comedian goes by the name of Rik. Rik is an up-and-comer in the Reno area comedy scene. He first cut his teeth in improv before becoming a disciple of unsung legend Mike Price and his famed comedy class. Rik has been an opener for touring pros Jack Mayberry, Rick D'elia, Kat Simmons, and local fave Rocky Laporte. His oddball observations range from being a Native Nevadan, teaching high school students, marriage, and parenting. Rik was a finalist in last summer's Sparks Got Talent competition and has been seen loitering around open mics for the last couple years. His comic hero's include Redd Foxx, Steve Martin, Elayne Boosler, and George Carlin. Rik lives in Sparks, NV with his wife and three and a half children (she's pregnant, again...)
Some comedians you may have seen on Comedy Central, HBO, Showtime and in your favorite movies will be performing weekly on Friday and Saturday nights. Friday shows are at 8:00pm and Saturday shows are at 8:00pm and 10:00pm. There is a possibility of adult content in some shows and so we suggest ages 16 and over with parental guidance. The 10:00pm Saturday shows will generally by ‘R’ Rated and are guaranteed to spice up your evening.
