Reno Tahoe Comedy is pleased to announce that all three shows are headlined by comedian Gabriel Rutledge. Gabriel’s material often takes an honest and self-deprecating look at his own life including his marriage. “Really there is nothing better for you as a couple, then to be out of shape. Eventually you just get to the point where you say, “Well honey, looks like we’ve eaten ourselves into a monogamous relationship.” And his finances. “Looks like my son is gonna get free school lunch just like his daddy…and his grandpa. We’ve got free school lunch all the way back to the Mayflower. It’s a proud family. We came over on the short boat.”
Joining Gabriel as our host for the weekend is Owen Straw. Owen has earned a reputation as one of "Seattle's most consistently terrific comedy workhorses." He brings an unusual energy and deceptive intelligence to his absurdist jokes. Owen easily conquers every audience he steps in front of with funny stories and word play, uncovering new perspectives on work, dating, politics, and living healthy. His laid back approach blurs the lines between improv and prepared material, making every performance unique.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the show and are available at www.pioneercenter.com, 775-686-6600 ext. #4 / Box Office 11:30am – 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
