Comedians Sean Peabody and Dan Edwards are bringing their unique brand of stand-up humor to the Pioneer Center (100 S. Virginia St., Reno) July 23 for a 16-and-older Pioneer Underground show to benefit Volunteers of America/ReStart three emergency shelters at Reno’s Community Assistance Center.
Peabody headlines the 5 p.m. fundraiser, with Edwards acting as host in addition to filling the second half of the bill, which is being presented by Reno-Tahoe Comedy.

A California boy born in San Diego and raised in the Bay Area, Sean Peabody currently lives in Dixon. A favorite opening act for such notable comedy stars as Robin Williams, Eddie Griffin and John Witherspoon, Peabody’s style of comedy is described as “high energy,” and suitable for all ages from all walks of life.
