Renewing Portland's Childrens Investment Fund October 19, 2008

Portland Children's Investment Fund: The November 2008 election will include measure 26-94 requesting voters to renew funding for The Portland Children's Investment Fund. This measure, if approved would continue funding for prevention of child abuse, provide services to help children in foster care succeed, provide funding for before and after school programs and for early childhood education. Jeff Cogan, City of Portland Commissioner will present this issue and why continued funding is important.
