Renée Rey Art at Broadway Palm Theater February 20, 2009

Renée Rey will be exhibiting her series of painting and drawings, "In the Spirit," at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, 1380 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907 from February 20 to April 13, 2009.

The public is invited to the Opening Reception of the exhibition on Friday, February 20 from 5:30-6:30pm.

Reminiscent of time-honored black and white photographs, Renée Rey's lyrical paintings reveal the majesty of musicians playing their magical instruments. The sensitivity of the musicians is poetically balanced with an overall sense of spirituality. With playfulness and mystery, the artist engages the audience/viewer in the final artistic vision of the creative process. The world Rey creates inspires the viewer to see, feel and hear music and dancers as they perform.
