Remix Hotel LA Official Afterparty & The iStandard Producer Showcase @ Nacional

A head-to-head producer battle featuring a top panel of industry judges & artists along with sounds by DJ Thrill Collins and special surprise guests.

Each producer will play five beats (one minute each max), which can include hooks but absolutely no singing or rapping on the verses. While the producer is playing his or her beats, the Industry Judge Panel will score them 1–10 on the following categories:

• Originality (Something new and fresh, doesn't sound like anything out there.)
• Marketability (Can the song be on the radio or on an album? Can you hear someone rapping or singing over it?)
• Quality (Sounds are crisp with separation in the mixes; low end is thumping.)
• Usage of Elements (Any samples, live instruments, etc. are placed within the drum pattern efficiently.)
• Overall Potential (Does this producer have what it takes to get to the next level?)

After beats are played, the Industry Judge Panel will give the producer verbal feedback. The panel includes:

• Battle Cat - Platinum Producer for Snoop Dogg, Ras Kass & more
• DJ Khalil - Platinum Producer for 50 Cent, Akon & more
• Bishop Lamont - Aftermath Recording Artist
• Raj Jadeja - Atlantic Records A&R

The first-place winner will receive a prize package worth over $3000.00 including:
