Remington College Partners with 9Health Fair to Host Southern Colorado Health Fair April 20, 2009

Colorado Springs residents can get access to more than 20 critical health screenings at the 9Health Fair, hosted by
Remington College® on April 20th.

From 8:00 am to noon, the public can take advantage of a variety of health screenings that are provided for free or at low-cost.

Health screenings include:
• Blood chemistry
• Blood cell count
• Prostatic Specific Antigen
• Blood pressure and pulse
• Vision
• Hearing
• Mental health
• Osteoporosis
• Lung function
• Body fat
• Finger stick glucose
• Eye health
• Talk with a health professional
• Ask a pharmacist

Participant requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Do not eat at least 12 hours before having blood drawn
• Diabetics should not fast
• Drink plenty of water before having blood drawn
• Continue taking prescribed medications
