Remington College-Memphis Campus Offers Complimentary Salon Services to Students Headed to Prom April 29, 2010

High school students want to look their best on prom night, but not everyone can afford the cost of a trip to the salon. That’s why Remington College-Memphis Campus is offering complimentary salon services for local high school students.

The event is called Prom Night Makeover. Staff and students in the Remington College Cosmetology Program are offering several complimentary services, including:

• Haircuts
• Updos
• Manicures
• Pedicures
• Makeup

High School students in the Memphis area can visit The Student Salon at Remington located at the Remington College-Memphis campus from April 30th through May 15th. Appointments are recommended and can be made by calling 901-396-8625.
“All students deserve to have a memorable prom night, and we’re happy to donate our services to make sure they look and feel their best,” said Lori May, Remington College-Memphis Campus President.

Remington College’s Cosmetology program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training in The Student Salon at Remington, which allows students to work with real clients.

All Prom Night Makeover services will be done in the Cosmetology Department on the Remington College-Memphis Campus, located at 2710 Nonconnah Blvd. in Memphis.
