A critical and underground favorite since the group released its debut EP, 'Chronic Town,' in 1982, R.E.M. broke into the mainstream with the success of its 'Out Of Time' album in 1991. Since then, the band has balanced artistry with commercial success, becoming one of the world's most popular bands. After four year hiatus, the band returns with a new album, 'Accelerate.' Special guests to open include Modest Mouse and The National.
