Love the excitement of race day and helping people? Registration is now open for volunteering with the 16th Annual Chicago Half Marathon and Hyundai Hope On Wheels 5K on Sunday, September 9, 2012. Thousands of runners will hit the streets, and volunteers will be with them every step of the way, providing encouragement and ensuring everyone a great experience on race day.
Volunteers are needed to help with the packet pick-up at the Expo, act as course monitors, distribute water at the aid stations, hand out finishers’ medals and in many other areas that make up the Chicago Half Marathon Race weekend. Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age.
