Dr. Jorge Quesada currently serves as an Associate Professor of Oncology at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He discovered the activity of interferon alpha in patients with hairy cell leukemia and has contributed more than 80 publications in major journals and books. The 1993 recipient of the Life Time Science Award granted by the Institute for Advanced Studies in Immunology and Aging, Dr. Quesada is an expert in the area of biological therapy of cancer with special interest in multiple myeloma, melanoma, and sarcoma.
