Each year, Squeaky wheel provides six months of equipment and facility access to a group of WNY artists who create and premiere new work.
This year's residency projects include a video and performative sculpture that stages an involuntary snail migration by Kyle Butler +Shasti O'Leary Soudant, a multimedia docu-fiction installation about nine months of pregnancy and one month of new life by Lauren Gay +Isaac Johnson, and a Dogme 95-style short narrative about sex and suicide by Matthew Hardesty.
