Following her triumphant two night sell-out in the Queen Elizabeth Hall in 2006, Regina Spektor returns to play the newly reopened Royal Festival Hall. The Moscow-born, Bronx-raised singer, songwriter, pianist and star of the anti-folk scene recorded her debut album 11:11 back in 2001. Spektor's profile was raised following the recording of her third album Soviet Kitsch in 2004, which caught the imagination of The Strokes and led to them becoming the backing band for a number of her New York shows. She went on to tour with The Strokes and Kings Of Leon. Her latest albums, Mary Ann Meets The Gravediggers and Other Short Stories and Begin To Hope were released to huge acclaim and this promises to be an amazing evening in the new hall.
