Topic of discussion: CodeIgniter presented by Steve Webb

Steve Webb is web designer and web application developer with experience in standards-based design (XHTML, CSS). Steve's current projects focus on PHP and MySQL using the CodeIgniter MVC framework and AJAX development using the jQuery Javascript library.

Steve began doing web design in 1998 under the category of "other duties as assigned" as an environmental engineer with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality where he is currently employed. That experience led him to developing web applications for the agency. Steve is currently involved in the development of several data integration projects and various web applications at ODEQ.

Steve has conducted his freelance work under the name Left Handed Spider since 2005. Some of his projects include the design and implementation of various websites using the PHP-based Drupal content management system and an interactive language assessment application using Flash Communication Server and CodeIgniter.

A native of Anchorage, Alaska, Steve has lived in Norman since 1994.
