Sunlight reflecting off of the surface of the Moon shows us craters, mountains and smooth, dark maria. Join us as we explore this harsh landscape through the Observatory's 16-inch telescope. We will also take a look at Saturn and its rings (through the end of July) and Neptune. The Lake Afton Public Observatory is open to the public every Friday and Saturday evening. During July and August, the Observatory's hours are from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m., then in September we will be open from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.
