The ETC Theatre Company and Encore Entertainment Productions are pleased to present Joe Mcdonald’s Reed in the Wind, directed by Tom Holmes. Reed in the Wind will play five performances only at the Sonnet Theatre in the Producer’s Club (358 West 44th St. New York 10036.) Performances are June 27 through June 30. Press are invited to all performances.
Michael and Kate Nolan’s lives are forever changed when their parents perish in a fiery death. Ostracized by their community, the siblings’ unique relationship is challenged by the web of religious, social, and economic morass of life in early 1900’s Ireland. In Reed in the Wind, as the Nolan family disintegrates, the characters struggle to survive while seeking the truth - an adventure of the human kind.
The production stars Heather Snow Clark (Made-Over for Love, Why do you smoke so much, Lily, Jesus’ Blood) as Kate Nolan, Nic Tyler* (A Night of the Iguana, Hamlet, Dancing at Lughnasa) as Michael Nolan, Douglas B. Giorgis* (Ten Nights in a Barroom, Pride and Prejudice) as Peter Mallon, and Bob Adrian* (US Tour of Doubles, Twelve Monkeys, Jungle Fever, Basketball Diaries), as The Priest.
The production features scenic and costume design by Casper de la Torre.
