In honor of Independence Day, on July 3 & 4, any active duty, activated, retired or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman is entitled to free admission to the Zoo. Must present a valid military/service photo I.D.*
Plus, on July 4th (during select 30 minute intervals) military members and their families are invited to take their photo with a Bald Eagle. One free 4” x 6” print will be given to each military family. **
*Free admission applies to active duty military representing all five service branches, active members of a reserve or National Guard unit, and up to three direct dependants. Must have valid military/service I.D. reflecting active status and dependents ages 10 and over must present valid Dependent ID. Dependents may take advantage of the offer without their service member, though an adult must accompany minor dependents, and dependent ages 10 and over must present valid dependent I.D.
