Each with their own well-traveled folk careers, acclaimed singer/songwriters John Gorka, Lucy Kaplansky and Eliza Gilkyson have always been more comfortable alone on stage. But not any more. They were recently inspired to join together after witnessing a series of shows celebrating the 25th anniversary of Minnesota-based Red House Records -- a label known for its amazing acoustic guitarists. The bona fide folk super-group Red Horse is the culmination of years of friendship and admiration. Part quiet, poetic grace and part comedy tag team, they tend to mix the show up with covers, original tunes by each member and, of course, the songs they all wrote together. A perfect way to get to know StageOne a little better, Redhorse is a true folk music experience.
