J. T. Oglesby is a former US National Thumbstyle Guitar Champion from a small town in Western Kentucky named Nortonville--the same area that Thumbstyle legends and pioneers Mose Rager and Merle Travis are from. Thumbstyle guitar playing originated in his area and he is proud to be carrying on that tradition. He plays every style of guitar you can imagine. J. T. is a multi-instumentalist playing guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, dobro, and bozouki.
