Virgil Bowlin and Peerless Mountain is an exciting band from Southeastern Kentucky that plays acoustic music in a variety of traditions and influences. Their concerts are lively and entertaining with some history, some humor, and a lot of music. The audience will experience a delightful assortment of bluegrass, mountain folk tunes, and some early country music thrown in for good measure. The band is a four piece ensemble built around Virgil and David Bowlin, brothers who are committed to taking their deep love for music and making a career out of it.
