Students at Goldsmiths, University of London are holding a recycled fashion show to raise money for charity on Friday 25 January 2008. The show, which will take place at 5.00pm in the grand surroundings of the Great Hall of the Richard Hoggart Building, Lewisham Way, New Cross, is one of a series of fundraising events as part of the Students’ Union RAG (Raise and give) Week.
The fashion show aims to be environmentally aware by promoting ethical and recycled fashion that is stylish and glamorous. Anyone is welcome to attend. Entrance to the event costs £5 and garments will be available to buy at the end of the show. All profits will be donated to local Lewisham-based advice and support centre, the 999 Club, Macmillan Cancer Support and humanitarian medical aid agency, Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without borders).
