On April 11, 2010 IonSound will present the third installation our series--Recycle. The pieces on this program will represent the many ways in which composers borrow or 'recycle' motivic, melodic, and harmonic material. The group will perform works by Joan Tower, Daron Hagen, Francis Poulenc, and will feature virtuoso pianist Amy Williams in Solo Observed by Lukas Foss. Giant puppets made from recycled materials by area artist Cheryl Capezzuti will make an appearance.

Tickets are $8.50 general admission, $5 for students and seniors when purchased in advance through ProArts (www.proartstickets.org), and can be purchased at the door for $15/10. For more information and concert updates please visit www.ionsound.org.
