What was the first computer you had in your home? Maybe it was a Sinclair ZX81, or a Spectrum or maybe a Commodore, Dragon, or even a BBC Micro. And what did you use it for?
These are the questions that Professor Nigel Linge from the School of Computing, Science & Engineering will be asking people on the weekend of Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March 2009. As part of National Science and Engineering Week, Professor Linge will be hosting a telecommunications exhibition at the Museum of Science and Industry that will contain working examples of home computers from the 1980s.
