WHAT: SF Playhouse, Union Square’s intimate, professional theatre, continues its fourth season with a revival of Craig Lucas’s Christmas Fable, Reckless.
Reckless is a hilarious and touching Christmas fable that premiered in 1983 and was later revised and produced by Circle Rep in 1988. In 2004 it was revived by the Manhattan Theatre Club in collaboration with Second Stage theatre starring Mary Louise Parker.
Christmas is Rachel's favorite holiday...until her son fires her and her husband takes a contract out on her life! After fleeing out her bedroom window, she embarks on a hilarious and magical adventure of self discovery guided by a very unlikely Santa.
