In 1974-75, PAFA launched a massive restoration of the Furness-Hewitt building focused on restoring the original flamboyant grandeur of the architects’ original design. Cheryl Leibold, Archivist, uses before, during, and after images of the building to illustrate the restoration process of PAFA’s Historic Landmark Building.

The Art-at-Lunch series of talks on American art and culture take place every Wednesday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Bring your lunch or purchase it in the Academy Café and enjoy discussions and lectures with scholars and artists covering a variety of topics related to the PAFA’s exhibitions, collections, and areas of interest. The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts is located at 118 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA.

Art-at-Lunch is free to the public. For more information, contact PAFA at 215-972-2069 or visit our website: www.pafa.org/418.
