A Woman's Journey From Darkness to Light
Catholics@Work is proud to announce Miss Patricia Lebreton, radio host and public speaker, will be its featured speaker at its breakfast event, November 10, 2009.
Miss Lebreton was born and raised in a Catholic family in France. Her career and interests have led her to travel not only from culture to culture but also from the world of academia to the ones of Harley-Davidson, entertainment marketing, wine retailing and more. She came to the United States in 1986 to further her international marketing education by pursuing a Masters degree in Business Administration. She then went on to leverage her marketing skills within the family and culture of an incredible secular brand icon- Harley-Davidson. As Patricia traveled the world for Harley-Davidson wholeheartedly committed to help expand the reach of the brand overseas, she continued to move away from her Catholic roots." She eventually grew to challenge and reject the teachings of the Church which she felt were oppressive in essence and, in particular, to women.
A serendipitous intersection of her life and Immaculate Heart Radio was the catalyst for her abandoning her self-centric life journey and returning home to the roots of her Catholic heritage. Patricia, who has mastered the long lost art of story telling, will share, with us, highlights of her 15 years of a journey into the wilderness and back again to embrace her faith anew.
Miss Lebreton credits Immaculate Heart Radio for changing her life as it is the instrument that God chose to bring her back to the Catholic Church.
