RebbeSoul in Concert March 10, 2007

RebbeSoul performs melodies from across the globe, fusing together percussion driven rhythms with disparate sounds of the Jewish diaspora. RebbeSoul stiches Sephardic romanceros rocking out in Ladino and Balkan balalaika strings together while canjons beat out beneath Lubavitch niggunim. Morroccan Carlebach melodies, Mizrahi piyyutim and samples of chanted mantra swirl in a sonic collage that redifines the notion of World beat.
