Sustainable Energy
What is it?
How do we convert to it?
What local initiatives are there?
Our choices impact the community as well as the environment. Shifting from extraction-consumption-depletion to preservation-conservation with development and support for natural energy alternatives is an important aspect of the Real Wealth of Portland.
Topics will include presentations from:
Sunnyside Neighborhood Energy Project
Renewable Energy Payment Legislation update by Alliance for Democracy
Energy expert – Tips for making your home more energy efficient and saving you money.
We will have an open discussion on these topics of energy alternatives
and to exchange ideas of how everyone can participate in shifting to
a more renewable-sourced power.
Take away information about resources and action items for energy independence in our communities.
Talk with presenters and tablers.
