Real Vocal String Quartet September 15, 2010

The Mendocino Stories and Music Series will feature Real Vocal String Quartet, fresh from their west coast tour and on their way home to Berkeley. They sing and play their brand of “Un-Chamber Music”, globally infused acoustic string music with a deep groove. Show time is 7:30PM at the Mendocino Hotel.

Wherever they began individually, together, the players in Real Vocal String Quartet have gone somewhere entirely new. Their chemistry as a musical group has become a catalyst for a creative explosion. They’ve taken their classical and jazz training, and combined it with their talent and other forays. African, Brazilian, Balkan, Bluegrass: they’ve stretched beyond the conceived limits of string music.
