Brian Kahn, author of "Real Common Sense: Using Our Founding Values to Reclaim Our Nation and Stop the Radical Right from Hijacking America," poses the question, “Who are the true heirs of Tom Paine’s common sense ideology: conspiracy theorists and wealthy, tax-addled Tea Partiers, or average working class Americans?”
Brian Kahn is host of the award–winning public radio program “Home Ground,” a weekly public affairs program distributed on the internet and broadcast on public radio throughout Montana and northern Wyoming. He has been called “the Charlie Rose of the West.” He has been published in the Los Angeles Times, The Nation, and Field & Stream. He has worked as a ranch hand, college boxing coach, lawyer, conservationist and journalist, and lives in Montana.
The talk will be followed by a book sale and signing, courtesy of Crazy Wisdom Bookstore.
