Reading Art Book Club May 13, 2009

The Reading Art Book Club (RABC) will hold its next meeting at 2:30 on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Las Cruces Museum of Art. The meeting will focus on the book The Painted Word by American Book Award winning author Tom Wolfe. This work of non-fiction, first published in 1975, is a humorous look at the history of modern art and the rise of art theory.

The Reading Art Book Club is dedicated to exploring the connections between art and literature by reading and discussing books. As much as possible, books selected will relate, echo, or enhance the Museum’s varied exhibitions. Upcoming selections include COLOR: The Natural History of the Palette and The Yellow House, a novel by Martin Gayford.
