Read to Rebuild - A Haiti Benefit Reading March 16, 2010

Please join the Writers' Dojo and Reading Local Portland in raising relief funds for Haiti. While the first wave of urgency has passed, Haiti will continue to need help for a long time to come. Mercy Corps, a world-class international aid organization with its headquarters right here in Portland, is working to help repair Haiti's infrastructure--and we all have a part to play.

The Portland literary community is strong and energetic, so we've set a goal for this event to raise at least $3,000 to help Mercy Corps' ongoing work in Haiti.

An All-Star Lineup of readers includes: Ariel Gore, Margaret Malone, Laura Moulton, Ben Parzybok, Kevin Sampsell, and Tom Spanbauer.

Music provided by the fantastic duo Sweeter Than Later.

Enjoy Free Cameron Hughes Wine, and a Prize Raffle, where items like a $100 gift card to Broadway Books, tickets to Backfence PDX, a Dark Horse Comics package, and much more will be up for grabs.

Doors open 6:30pm, Readings begin at 7pm.
