Reaching Muslims with the Gospel

Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world today. Unfortunately, popular media has shaped our views and perceptions about Muslims. It is essential that we have accurate information because we, as the body of Christ, have a tremendous opportunity to reach the Muslim world with the Good News.

Ken Temple presents: Encountering Islam and Reaching Muslims

In this seminar, we will explore the history and spread of Islam and Christianity. Then, we will learn how to more effectively interact with Muslims in our own communities and abroad. The night will be set in a similar format to a Perspectives class, including interactive activities and a time for focused prayer.

Let's join together in this opportunity to have a part in reaching nearly 2 billion people worldwide with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

About Ken Temple:
Ken and his wife, Connie, have been involved with outreach to Muslims for 23 years, first with Arab Muslims, and now with Iranians. For the past 13 years, the Temples have ministered to Iranian Muslims both in Turkey and in Atlanta, Georgia. Ken's primary ministry is in church-planting, which incorporates language learning, cultural adaptation, evangelism, discipleship, teaching, training of elders and pastors, marriage counseling, ethno-musicology, peacemaking, church discipline, pastoral visits, and Biblical contextualization.

For the last 10 years, Ken has served Atlanta's Iranian community, training aspiring leaders in good theology, Biblical interpretation, evangelism, and discipleship. Previously, Ken worked with Frontiers and is now a key part of Propempo - Providing assistance in the development of local church centered world missions ministries, including certified cultural diversity training, advising and counseling for expatriate workers.
