This is the inaugural meeting of the RDF Vancouver Semantic Web User Group. It is intended to be an informal event for learning about the latest Semantic Web technologies, and networking with other users/developers in the community.
It will be held at WorkSpace, from 7:00pm on Wednesday, October 29th.
As this is our first event, we need speakers! Please get in touch with Jim Pick if you'd like to present.
Proposed program (90 minutes):
* start with a short talk for newcomers to help explain what the Semantic Web is
* follow up with a couple of more short talks
* end the event with some longer talks by invited speakers (TDB)
There will be a projector available for presentations. Hopefully, we will be able to have the talks videotaped and put on the Internet.
After the presentations, some of us might head over to the Irish Heather for a beer or two.

I'm definitely interested in this, but won't be able to make it this week.
