RCC Show Orchestra April 4, 2006

Stan Mark, trumpet player and band leader, is teaming up with RCC to create a performing ?Big Band.? This is the first class offered in a new jazz series at RCC. Big Band, swing, Latin, Dixieland/New Orleans Style Jazz, contemporary rock, classic rock, country and ?good music? will be studied, rehearsed and performed by this large ensemble. Trumpet, saxophone, trombone, keyboard, base, drum and guitar players, as well as vocalists, age 16 and older, are welcome. If you?ve played or sung in school no matter how long ago, please inquire. We are looking for various singers and styles. This ensemble will become an RCC showpiece performing in southern Oregon and elsewhere. For information, call 245-7619.
