The Richmond Comedy Coalition's all-improvised monthly show series features live and totally unscripted comedy, created on the spot, inspired by the true stories of some of RVA’s most interesting people.
The improvisers will be hearing their guests’ stories for the first time onstage. What unfolds afterwards is as much a mystery to them as it is to you, creating a show so funny you’d swear it was scripted (but you know it’s not).
*** This month, the RCC welcomes Nate Gutierrez and Jared Young, los hombres in charge of the popular Nate's Taco Truck & Truck Stop ***
Prior to the show and during intermission, Nate's taco cart will be set-up outside Gallery5 ready to serve you their muy delicioso tacos. One complimentary taco is included with the price of admission!
ABOUT OUR GUESTS
Nate Gutierrez started Nate's Taco Truck in the summer of 2004 in Monroe Park outside of Johnson and Rhoades dorms. The food cart served-up delicious and affordable tacos inspired by Nate's New Mexican heritage.
Once Nate realized that freshmen didn't have money he quickly moved to the corners of Park, Grove and Linden where they are today. After 7 years at the cart Nate thought it was the right time to move to his own kitchen which turned into Nate's Taco Truck Stop, their take-out shop located at 315 North 2 St., Richmond, VA. From there he hired Jared Young as his lil taco, and Nate was dubbed "Papa Taco." Since opening, Nate's has been featured twice on the New York Times' website.
